We rounded off the 2022/23 season with a good win for the 1s vs Wokingians and sadly a loss for the 6s on Saturday away to Reigatians to condemn them to relegation. An entertaining 3-3 draw was also played out in the intra club friendly at REMPF. Both games were captured on Veo, including some drunken reffing in the friendly.

Next Saturday is the end of season awards!! Its a totally FREE day for everyone including all footy, food and drink.

We’ll be handing out trophies and prizes to the winners of all the team awards including top scorer, manager’s player and player’s player of the year.

Also club prizes such as Manager of the Year, Club Top Scorer, Young Player of the Year, and Clubman of the Year.

So get yourself , the missus and little one/doggo down there and get involved!

With the Rugby 7s over and done with we were back home at Fortress REMPF. Except we weren’t what with the monsoon like weather resulting in all games being cancelled in particular the AFA Challenge Cup Final we were due to host. A similar outcome awaited the away games with a glut of last minute cancellations. And so it was that only the 4s game took place where they faced Old Suttonians 3s away.

Couple of fantastic results this week with the 1s winning away to Hamptonians and the 4s pummelling Economicals in a rare away match captured on Veo . Some brilliant goals too including a screamer from Joe Docherty – could be #oniongoaloftheseason 

The 6s secured a draw in the basement battle with Dorkinians, and the 3s fell to a 2-0 loss at Shene.

No games for the 3s and 5s this week. 1s and 2s will be at home, 4s and 6s away.

REMPF is hopefully back in action this week although it took a bit of a battering from the Rugby 7s. We are also hosting the AFA Challenge Cup Final between Shene and Clapham Xavarians and hosting them in the clubhouse afterwards.
